Habitat : In the midst of the park is where most of the forest stands the same with spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, to the north, you’ll find rolling grassy hills but also the beauty Momela Lake, with mountains (like mount Meru, which is at 14,980 feet from see level).
What you might see : The park has a rich variety of
wildlife, despite the size of the park, common animals include giraffe,
buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue
monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck and dik-dik to mention. Leopards
and hyenas are present, but rarely to be seen.
In the park there are more than 450 bird’s species including both
resident and migratory birds.
